Digital signing is evolving rapidly — from isolated implementations to a fully interoperable ecosystem of trust services and digital identities. The Cloud Signature Consortium (CSC) API is a key enabler of this transformation, providing a standardized interface for digital signature creation that ensures cross-platform compatibility, vendor independence, and regulatory compliance.
In this session, we’ll introduce what the CSC API is, how it standardizes interactions between signature applications and remote signing services, and how it enhances interoperability across different trust service providers. We will explore its role within the emerging eIDAS 2.0 framework, where harmonized interfaces and qualified trust services are becoming central to digital identity and signing ecosystems across Europe.
